Provisional Program

So, what precisely is going to happen at the conference? Good question!

It's not set in stone at this stage, but our provisional program should give you a good idea of what to expect.

If you can't be bothered clicking on the link, this year's conference will feature:

  • Keynote speakers Randy Mosher and Gordon Strong.
  • A whole new group of fantastic professional and amateur presenters.
  • Expanded club night: more time, more clubs, more beers, more prizes - make sure your club is there!
  • Return of the wildly successful Beer and Food Pairing Dinner.
  • Gala Dinner and AABC Awards ceremony.
  • Pre-conference drinks at the Local Taphouse.

Want To Host The Next Conference?

We're looking for a dedicated group of volunteers willing to organise the 2012 conference in their hometown. If you want to show off your city's homebrew credentials this is your big chance.

If you think you've got what it takes, email Andy Davison (ANHC Executive Director) at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for a document outlining what it'll take.

Call For Papers - Thanks

Thanks to those of you who responded to the call for papers, the program's looking pretty full now so if you've got any great presentation ideas please save them for 2012!

About Us

about_us_pic
TV presenter Paul Mercurio and Fosters' Mick Jontef at ANHC 2008
Looking forward to its second conference, ANHC is the brain-child of John Preston, who has attended the American National Homebrew Conference twice and enjoyed it so much he decided he had to have one here. John pulled together a collection of the smartest and best-looking homebrewers in Melbourne to put together the inaugural ANHC in 2008.

A not for profit organisation, ANHC's primary goals are to:

» improve the quality of homebrewed beer,
» raise awareness of homebrewing and quality craft beers,
» share brewing knowledge and experience, and
» provide inspiration, ideas and motivation for you to brew.
